Bollinger delivers fast response cutter to the USCG

USA-based Bollinger Shipyards has delivered a fast response cutter (FRC), the USCGC ‘Joseph Tezanos’, to the United States Coast Guard.

The 46-metre patrol craft is the 18th vessel in the Coast Guard’s Sentinel-class FRC program.

It has a flank speed of 28 knots and a stern launch system for the vessel’s 8.0-metre cutter boat.

The US Coast Guard took delivery of the vessel in Key West, Florida, and is scheduled to commission the vessel in Puerto Rico during August 2016.
