Bollinger Shipyards delivers fast response cutter Joseph Doyle
Bollinger Shipyards has delivered the future USCGC Joseph Doyle, a Sentinel-class fast response cutter (FRC), to the US Coast Guard (USCG).
The vessel, which is scheduled to be commissioned in June 2019, is the 33rd FRC to be delivered to the USCG.
The ship honours Joseph Doyle, a decorated member of the US Life-Saving Service which was superseded by the coast guard in 1915.
