Malta to receive new patrol boat in 2020

The Maritime Squadron of the Armed Forces of Malta is slated to receive a new patrol boat from Italy’s Vittoria Shipyard in the second half of 2020.

Construction of the vessel will commence in the first quarter of 2019.

The patrol boat will have an LOA of 74.8 metres and maximum speed in excess of 20 knots.
