Alion wins multiple award contract for US Navy’s UUV programme

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center has awarded Alion Science and Technology a multiple award contract (MAC) indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) to develop, build, and support the US Navy Unmanned Undersea Vehicle (UUV) Family of Systems (FoS).

The scope of the contract covers systems and subsystems required to support the advancement of UUV FoS, including current and future UUV systems and subsystems.

The value of the contract, with all option years, is US$794 million.
