Hindustan Shipyard to build Indian Navy two DSVs

Hindustan Shipyard in India has revealed that a contract of agreement with the Indian Navy for the construction of two diving support vessels (DSVs) is expected to be signed within two months.

Hindustan’s Chairman and Managing Director Rear Admiral LV Sarat Babu told The Hindu that the order could total ₹2,050 crore (US$298 million).

Hindustan is also building four tugs for the navy, each with a bollard pull of 50 tonnes.
