Vaalco to perform 3D survey offshore Gabon

US-based Vaalco Energy will begin acquiring and processing new 3D seismic data at the Etame Marin block offshore Gabon in connection with planning for future drilling work in the same area.

The survey will help Vaalco optimise and de-risk future drilling locations as well as identify new potential locations.

Completion of the seismic acquisition is expected by the end of 2020 while processing will be done by the fourth quarter of 2021.
