Shearwater GeoServices to perform 3D seismic survey for Petronas Suriname

Shearwater GeoServices has been awarded a contract for a large towed streamer 3D seismic survey for Block 52 offshore Suriname by Petronas subsidiary Petronas Suriname Exploration and Production (PSEPBV).

The four-month project is scheduled to commence in the fourth quarter of 2020. The survey covers a surface area of 6,200 square kilometres and will be carried out by Geo Caribbean.

PSEPBV is the operator of Block 52 with 50 per cent participating interest together with partner ExxonMobil holding the remaining 50 per cent.
