Shearwater GeoServices awarded Norwegian Sea OBS 4D survey by Aker BP

Shearwater GeoServices has been awarded an ocean bottom seismic (OBS) 4D survey by Aker BP at the Ivar Aasen field in the Norwegian North Sea.

The survey will commence in the second quarter of 2021 and will last approximately one month.

Shearwater will deploy multi-purpose vessels SW Cook (pictured) and SW Tasman and will use proprietary technology.
