Ocean Infinity wraps up Grande America wreck inspection

Island Pride

Ocean Infinity has completed a project which entailed conducting urgent subsea search, inspection, and operations on the wreck of the Grimaldi Lines Con-Ro Grande America, which sank in the Bay of Biscay off the coast of France on March 12.

The wreck was located and its condition was assessed using Ocean Infinity’s fleet of autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) and remotely operated vehicles (ROVs).

The mission was conducted from the supply vessel Island Pride (pictured), which had been in Gibraltar prior to this tasking.
