Niestern Sander launches Geo Plus’ newest survey vessel
Royal Niestern Sander launched the future hydrographic research and survey vessel Geo Ranger into the water on Saturday, March 7.
The 41- by 8.7-metre, DP2 vessel had been ordered in April 2019 by Dutch survey firm Geo Plus.
Geo Ranger was designed together with Conoship International and will be rented out by Geo Plus to parties that perform research, such as dredging companies and companies that build and maintain offshore wind farms. It will be christened on its delivery in the summer of 2020.
