MMA Offshore awarded first HIPP contract

MMA Offshore has received its first contract award as part of Australia’s Hydroscheme Industry Partnership Program (HIPP).

The HIPP is a partnership between Australia’s hydrographic industry and the Department of Defence, with an aim of delivering an extensive program of nautical charting surveys in the country’s waters.

Under the contract, MMA’s survey team will collect bathymetry data in the Bonaparte Archipelago off the coast of Western Australia, approximately 180 nautical miles north east of Broome. The survey will commence in late September and will continue for a period of two to three months.
