Jiangsu Zhenjiang delivers survey vessel to CMSA

Jiangsu Zhenjiang Shipyard delivered a new survey vessel to the China Maritime Safety Administration (CMSA) on Tuesday, May 12.

Haixun 16601 has an LOA of 24.5 metres, a beam of 5.2 metres, a speed of 10 knots, and a range of 500 nautical miles.

The newbuild will be used mainly in coastal and inland waterway navigation zones where it will perform port and waterway map surveys, emergency surveying and mapping, navigation scale verification surveys, water depth monitoring, hydrology surveys, and other related tasks.
