Keel laid for new crane vessel for Hong Kong owner

China's Jiangsu Zhenjiang Shipyard held a keel-laying ceremony for a new crane vessel on Friday, April 23.

The vessel will have an LOA of 78 metres, a beam of 26 metres, a maximum draught of 3.5 metres, and a crane capable of rotating 360 degrees on the main deck. Three deckhouses with accommodations for up to 42 people will be fitted as well.

The vessel is being built for an unnamed shipowner based in Hong Kong.
