USACE Memphis District awarded US$5.2 million harbour dredging contract

The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Memphis District has awarded a harbour dredging contract in the amount of approximately US$5.2 million to Great Lakes Dredge and Dock Company (GLDD).

The contracted work includes dredging of six harbours. The harbors are Memphis Harbor/McKellar Lake in Memphis, Tennessee; Helena Harbor Phillips County in Helena-West Helena, Arkansas; New Madrid Harbor, Mile 889 in the city of New Madrid, Missouri; Osceola Harbor in the city of Osceola, Arkansas; Wolf River Harbor in Memphis, Tennessee; and Elvis Stahr Harbor in Hickman, Kentucky.

The anticipated start date is July 1, 2021 while the scheduled completion date is in February 2022.
