US-based Ellicott Dredges has delivered two new dredgers in a series to an unnamed operator in Bangladesh.

The truck-transportable vessels each have a hull and a deckhouse designed to BV Sheltered Water Rules, making these suitable for a variety of applications including harbor dredging, river dredging, land reclamation, and sand mining projects.

Power is provided by a Caterpillar C32 969kW main engine while auxiliary power is available in the form of a Caterpillar C15 328kW engine. The maximum dredging depth is set at 15 metres.

The dredgers will be used primarily in river maintenance and flood control projects.
