UK firm starts construction of compact quarry dredger

Chesterfield, UK-based manufacturer Atlantic Pumps has commenced construction of a new compact dredger ordered by an unnamed customer.

The dredger’s small size will make it ideal for quarry use and for operation in shallow waters. Once completed, it can be transported and assembled more easily compared to larger dredgers.

The pumps and dredging equipment will also feature remote control to further ensure the safety of the operator.
