TV Dredging delivers fully-electric dredger to Royal Smals

Holland Shipyards Group subsidiary TV Dredging has delivered a new fully-electric dredger to Dutch marine contractor Royal Smals.

The custom-build deep suction dredger Vrouwezand will immediately be put into operation on an inland project in the area of Rouveen.

The dredger has a length of 22 metres, a beam of 7.51 metres, a total installed power of 1,000 kW, and a maximum dredging depth of 27.3 metres. It is suitable for a wide array of sand mining projects.
