Sea trials completed for Suez Canal Authority’s future cutter suction dredger

Royal IHC has completed conducting sea trials of the second in a series of heavy duty cutter suction dredgers ordered from the company by Egypt’s Suez Canal Authority (SCA).
A sister vessel of the recently delivered Mohab Mameesh, Hussein Tantawy is currently undergoing final fitting out in preparation for its delivery voyage to its new owners.
The new dredger will be put to use in maintaining and improving the Suez Canal shortly after its arrival in Egypt in the coming months.
