Royal IHC unveils new series of compact dredger

Royal IHC has introduced a new series of compact dredgers optimised for removing silt, medium sand, and gravel typical in smaller dredger projects.

Two versions will be available. The first version (pictured) will be used for vertical deployment wherein the dredge pump will be fitted with a sand suction head and suspended from an A-frame and lowered under gravity to the dredge surface; the second version will use a ladder to deploy the pump.

The new dredger series may be used in applications including construction or heavy mineral sand mining, alluvial gold or diamond mining, oil sands mining, environmental dredging, inland waterways maintenance dredging, reservoir dredging, and power plant maintenance.

The dredgers will be of modular construction to enable easy deployment.
