Royal IHC floated out a new trailing suction hopper dredger (TSHD) on Wednesday, February 19.

The vessel, which has been named Ghasha, will be the second TSHD to be built by Royal IHC for UAE operator National Marine Dredging Company (NMDC) after the 6,000-cubic-metre Arzana.

Ghasha will have a hopper capacity of 8,000 cubic metres and will be capable of dredging at depths of up to 45 metres.
