Rohde Nielsen wraps up beach nourishment works in north Funen
Copenhagen-based Rohde Nielsen recently completed a beach nourishment project in the northern portion of Denmark’s Funen Island.
The project involved the placement of 80,000 cubic metres of sand and was completed on time despite days of adverse weather from mid-December to January.
Rohde Nielsen used the split hopper dredger Magni R (pictured) and the trailing suction hopper dredger Freja R for the project.
