Novotrans completes first phase of Ust-Luga port construction project

Russia’s Novotrans Group has completed the first phase of construction of the Lugaport terminal project at the Port of Ust-Luga in the country’s northwest.

The RUB7 billion (US$100 million) project also includes reclamation and flood control works and involves an assortment of vessels such as tugs, barges, dredgers, and floating cranes.

A total of 47 hectares of land has so far been reclaimed as part of the project, which commenced in August 2019.
