New deep suction dredger for Aalten contractor nearing delivery
Holland Shipyards Group subsidiary TV Dredging has completed construction of a new deep suction dredger for Aalten-based marine contractor Hoftijzer Verhuur- en Aannemingsbedrijf.
Designed in-house by TV Dredging, the 20- by 9.1-metre Geertje boasts a maximum dredging depth of 37 metres and modular construction, enabling it to be easily assembled/disassembled and transported.
The dredger will be used primarily for sand extraction.
