Maldives’ R. Angolhitheem Harbour to receive upgrades under US$2.8 million project
Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has been awarded a US$2.8 million contract to upgrade R. Angolhitheem Harbour on the country’s Raa Atoll.
The scope of work will include dredging of an estimated 42,000 cubic metres of material and construction of a new 221-metre breakwater and 91-metre quay wall.
The works are expected to be completed within one year of the award of the contract.
