Kenmare christens mining cutter dredger

Ireland-based Kenmare Resources christened a mining cutter suction dredger at Royal IHC's shipyard in Kinderdijk on Thursday, May 23.

The vessel, which has been christened Julia, was launched three days prior and is expected to be delivered to Kenmare within the year.

The dredger will operate at Kenmare's Wet Concentrator Plant C project at its Moma Titanium Minerals Mine in Mozambique.

Julia is the third Royal IHC-designed dredger to join the Kenmare fleet after Mary-Ann and Catarina.
