Jan De Nul takes delivery of second TSHD in series from Singaporean yard
Jan De Nul Group has taken delivery of a new trailing suction hopper dredger from Singapore’s Keppel Offshore and Marine.
Ortelius is the second 6,000-cubic-metre trailing suction hopper dredger to be delivered by Keppel to Jan De Nul following Sanderus (pictured), which was handed over in late 2019.
Like Sanderus, Ortelius has an LOA of 111.7 metres, a beam of 24.6 metres, and two 2,150kW EU Stage V and IMO Tier III-compliant engines.
