Jan De Nul secures dredging contract in Bangladesh

Jan De Nul Group has been awarded a contract for dredging works as part of a planned series of improvement for the Port of Payra in southern Bangladesh.

The dredging works have already begun and are scheduled to be completed within three years.

Jan De Nul will mobilise several dredgers to perform the capital dredging works, deepening the port’s channel from its current depth of 6.3 metres to 10 metres. After completion, the dredgers will remain to maintain the depths in the channel.
