Jan De Nul Group has launched Sanderus, its fourth ultra-low emission vessel.
The 6,000-cubic-metre trailing suction hopper dredger (TSHD) is the first of two identical medium-sized hopper dredgers under construction at Keppel O&M's shipyard in Singapore.
Sanderus is equipped with diesel-electric propulsion and a two-stage filtering system for exhaust gases.
