Ireland’s Port of Waterford to commence maintenance dredging
The Port of Waterford in County Kilkenny, Ireland, will commence maintenance dredging in the vicinity of Duncannon Bar, Cheekpoint, and Belview.
The dredger Shoalway will be used for the works.
Disposal will take place at an approved site south west of Hook Head. Dredging will be followed by a bed levelling campaign by the vessels Fastnet Sound and Glenesk.
The campaign will commence before the end of March and is expected to last approximately 24 days.
