First sea trials complete for new Chinese dredger
Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries’ new dredger has completed its first sea trials.
Tiankun left its Qidong terminal heading for the Huaniaoshan Sea of the Zhejiang Province on Tuesday.
The vessel has an LOA of 140 metres, dredging depth of 6.5 metres to 35 metres and a total cutter power of 6,600W.
The vessel is on schedule for delivery to Tianjin Dredging by the end of 2018.
