Egyptian defence ministry orders 12 vessels from Royal IHC

Royal IHC has secured an order for 12 vessels from the Engineering Authority of the Egyptian Ministry of Defence.

The order covers ten 26-metre cutter suction dredgers (CSDs) and two 14-metre multi-purpose workboats for hoisting cutterheads and other pump parts.

The vessels will be used for maintenance dredging works in Egypt’s lakes and other inland waterways.
