Damen to build dredger for Argentina operator
Damen Shipyards Group has been awarded a contract for the construction and delivery of a new cutter suction dredger to Argentinian company Servimagnus.
The vessel will be used for maintenance dredging of rivers in Buenos Aires province that have regularly experienced flooding over the past decade due to heavy siltation.
The dredger is currently under construction in the Netherlands and is scheduled for delivery to Argentina this autumn.
