Damen launches new dredger series

Damen Dredging Equipment has introduced a series of new dredgers after the success of its DOP submersible dredge pump.

Ranging in capacity from 600 cubic metres an hour to 2,400 cubic metres an hour, the range was produced in response to a demand for ad-hoc dredgers using the dredge pump.

The pump is directly driven by a hydraulic or electric motor, assembled in a rigid housing with the ability to attach specialised suction devices, such as mining heads or cutter units. It can easily be connected to excavators and cranes.

Ideal for dam maintenance work or deep sand winning, the dredgers can reach up to 100 metres and will include an electric model.
