Damen hopper dredger joins Rosmorport fleet

The Damen-built hopper dredger Beloe More (“White Sea”) recently joined its sister vessel Severnaya Dvina in the Port of Sabetta, Northern Russia.

The 2,000-cubic-metre customised hopper dredger was delivered to FSUE Rosmorport. It will perform maintenance duties and execute capital dredging in the newly created harbour.

The Ice class vessel was delivered from stock, being available at Damen Yichang Shipyard in China.

The 84-metre Beloe More is equipped with space for a crew of 13 and a 600-millilitre trailing pipe for dredging at a maximum depth of 25 metres.
