Damen bags Bulgaria dredger order

Damen Shipyards Gorinchem has been awarded a contract to supply a new dredger to the Bulgarian government, the country’s Executive Agency for Exploration and Maintenance of the Danube River (EAEMDR) has confirmed.

Damen emerged as the winner of a competitive tender process that had also included three other bidders.

The EAEMDR contract has an approximate value of €3.1 million (US$3.63 million).
