China Shipbuilding NDRI Engineering wins bid for Zhanjiang port terminal contracting project

China Shipbuilding Ninth Design and Research Institute Engineering has recently secured the general contracting project of the general terminal project of Xiashan Port Area of the Port of Zhanjiang amid fierce competition.

The project, located in the northwest of Guangzhou Bay, Zhanjiang Port, will include a 150,000-tonne general purpose terminal and corresponding support facilities.

The total length of the terminal is 369 metres and the annual planned throughput is around 4.5 million tonnes.

The project also includes dredging of the harbour channel, dock, revetment structure, and land formation.
