Boskalis completes new causeway in Bahrain
Royal Boskalis Westminster has completed the construction of a large sand causeway in the sea in the northern part of Bahrain for a future five-kilometre-long highway.
The project saw the installation of 340,000 tonnes of rock to protect the banks as well as 8.2 million cubic metres of sand being brought in.
Boskalis used the hopper dredgers Causeway and Coastway for the project.
