Queensland, Australia-based marine projects company Hall Contracting has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Solomon Islands-based civil construction company Hatanga to collaborate when tendering for and delivering projects in the Solomon Islands.

The agreement will see Hall carry out all dredging and marine civil works while Hatanga manages landside operations.

Hall added that the collaboration will enable the company to build capacity within local communities in the Solomon Islands. This will be accomplished through employment and training opportunities for residents.

The collaboration with Hatanga is part of Hall’s continuing expansion of its services to markets in Australia’s Pacific Island neighbours.
