Ukrainian port authority initiates bidding process for new dredger

The Delta-Pilot Branch, the pilotage and traffic control unit of the state-owned Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (USPA), recently issued a tender for the procurement of a new self-propelled dredger to increase the capacity of the company’s fleet.

The vessel will be used for dredging works in the seaports of Ukraine.

In accordance with the terms of reference, the dredger should have a maximum draught of five metres, a soil hold capacity of not less than 1,800 cubic metres, and a wave compensation system.

Proposals will be accepted until November 9, 2018.
