Launching of new seismic vessel

'Polarcus Naila', the second purpose-built vessel ordered by Polarcus, UAE, has been launched at the Drydocks World- Dubai shipyard.

The vessel is intended for the 3-D seismic market and will be capable of towing up to twelve 8,000-metre streamers.

The vessel's Ulstain X-Bow hull and selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system are designed to increase performance and reduce emissions.

'Polarcus Naila' is scheduled for delivery in the fourth quarter of the year.
