India: The Gujarat Maritime Board (GMB) has proposed a new Ro-Ro ferry service network that would connect the Gulf of Khambhat and the Gulf of Kutch to Mumbai.
The service could also be extended down the southern coast to Kerala.
GMB is currently developing Phase I of a new Ro-Ro terminal at Ghoga and Dahej; construction is slated for completion in 2011.
