The author is a fastidious researcher, historian and "draughtsman artist" and it shows throughout this fine book, even in this "budget" edition. The amount of work put into it is phenomenal.
Everything about James Cook's ship and its voyages under his command are described in amazing detail.
Anyone interested in Australian, British or Pacific maritime history should have a copy. Even this paperback edition screams quality. It is an absolute bargain!
