Dutch company HDM (Holland Diesel Maassluis) will deliver their first Pilot boat/fast launch craft this month. The vessel is the first out of a series of eight new-builds.
The vessel is the result of continued co-operation within the new-building team, consisting of: HDM (project management, complete outfitting and delivery), Shipyard Made (hull construction), the Dutch Pilotage organisation (new-building team), and Camarc UK (designer).
The resulting vessel is reliable and can be operated in rough seas with wave heights up to 3.5 metres.
The first vessel has completed sea trials and quality and performance tests, with "excellent results," according to HDM.
