Chioggia-based shipyard Cantieri Navali Chioggia has launched a 1,500-tonne capacity floating dry dock.
An advanced tool for lifting and launching any type of vessel up to 70 metres in length, the structure's 23 metre internal net width also allows for lifting capabilities of modern catamarans.
Built to high quality standards, the floating dry dock features an advanced software control with touch-screen monitors. This allows a single operator to control the dry dock helm station easily, performing manoeuvres such as immersion, lifting and positioning with safety and precision.
Cantieri Navali Chioggia, located south of Venice, has a 36,000m2 facility with 200 metres of waterfront.
