After wide-ranging discussions with many of its readers and advertisers, Baird Publications has decided it can serve them much better and more cost effectively by merging its long established Work Boat World and Ships and Shipping magazines and more closely aligning the resulting new magazine with their rapidly developing www.bairdmaritime.com website.
"Our readers will, from the July 2011 issue, be able to obtain their daily maritime news from the www.bairdmaritime.com website and their detailed vessel reviews, columns, company profiles and surveys from the upgraded and expanded magazine, to also be called Baird Maritime. Like the website, the magazine will cover the entire global maritime market very comprehensively", Editor-in-Chief Neil Baird explained.
