Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL) received the LNG carrier 'Kumul' at Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding in Shanghai on April 29.

The 'Kumul' was ordered by MOL subsidiary Gemini LNG Shipping and is the last in a series of four new-building LNG carriers ordered.

With the delivery of the 'Kumul', all vessels have been delivered and launched to sail under long-term charters with ExxonMobil. The 'Kumul' will operate on ExxonMobil's PNG LNG project.

The first vessel, the 'Papua', was delivered in January 2015, the second, the 'Southern Cross', in June, and the third, the 'Beidou Star', in November.

The vessels are 290 metres long, 47 metres wide and have a cargo tank capacity of 171,800 cubic metres.
