LNG vessel owner/operator Golar LNG has announced that it has completed its sale of interests in the company that owns and operates the LNG carrier 'Golar Maria' to Golar LNG Partners for a price of USD215 million.
As consideration, the partnership will assume USD89.5 million of bank debt in respect of the 'Golar Maria' and pay Golar the balance of USD125.5 million in cash using the proceeds of its recent equity offerings, which closed on February 5, 2013.
