Former CEO of the Danish shipping firm Torm, Mikael Skov is behind a new shipping company Tankers Inc., which reportedly has over DKK2.0 billion (US$343 million) ready to invest.
Skov and former colleague Jan Mechlenburg have backing from British bank Barclays' investment fund BNRI and numerous private investors.
There have also been talks of an IPO to raise more capital.
