CMA CGM launches new service from Asia to west coast South America

CMA CGM has announced the launch of ACSA 2, a new direct service between Asia, Mexico and the west coast of South America, operated in partnership with CSCL, Hanjin Shipping and Hyundai Merchant Marine.

The ACSA 2 service will deploy 10 vessels with a capacity of 2,350 to 2,550TEU on the following rotation: Shekou – Ningbo – Shanghai – Pusan – Manzanillo (Mexico) – Buenaventura – Guayaquil – Callao – Iquique – Valparaiso – San Vicente – Manzanillo (Mexico) – Pusan and return to Shekou.

The ACSA 2 service will start its eastbound rotation at Shekou on September 13, 2010.
