Svitzer has entered into an agreement with Brazilian shipyard Rio Maguari for the delivery of four new ASD tugs for its operations in Brazil.
The tugs will all utilise a Robert Allan Ltd design that will have a length of 23 metres and will be capable of a bollard pull of 70 tonnes.
Deliveries are scheduled to take place from October 2022 to April 2023.
